Danielle Jackson, Owner of ElleRae's Taco, Awarded Lateisha Green Scholarship

Kicking off 2024 Pride Month, OUT Syracuse, the LGBT economic empowerment program of Greater Syracuse, awards Danielle Jackson the Lateisha Green Scholarship. Danielle is the owner of ElleRae's Taco and will work with Coach Sgro for a full year in his premier leadership program and be a business member of OUT Syracuse.

The Lateisha Green Scholarship is a fully funded coaching contract for an LGBTQ professional in the Syracuse community. The coaching program includes assessments, one-on-one coaching hours and a professional performance plan. The scholarship is made possible by the business membership fees for OUT Syracuse and donated services from Michael Sgro, LLC.

The scholarship was named after Lateisha Green, who was a transgender woman murdered in 2008. She will never be forgotten.

OUT Syracuse, is a LGBT community program fueled by Michael Sgro Leadership Coaching. Its purpose is to activate an inclusive and equitable business environment; provide training and resources to fuel economic growth; and drive meaningful community connections and impact across greater Syracuse.
