What is Empathic Leadership?
“Meeting others where they're at. Acting in your values and intuiting what is true. Planning for change that you can see, and remaining flexible with change that you didn't. Seeing the forest for the trees.”
What skills or competencies did you enhance through the coaching process?
“Strength. Resiliency. Agency. Compassion. Confidence. Power. Love. Flexibility. A can-do attitude!”
Share an example of a goal that you have realized as a result of coaching.
“I feel I have more agency in decision-making, which has been something personally and professionally that I don't feel has always come naturally. Through the work Michael and I did, I've learned to feel more comfortable with who I am, and to stand in the power of it! I have also grown in my ability to let things roll off my back more easily, and to feel confident in relationship skills with others."
What do professionals need to start anticipating as the change needed to be a strong leader?
“Flexibility might be the number one thing to focus on as our world changes. Knowing who you are and living in your values, seeing the importance of people in creating culture change, nobody left behind.”
